This course is designed for those who have a very basic knowledge of English. During this course, students will review grammar basics and practise English by doing a wide range of exercises aimed at developing the 4 basic language skills: reading, listening, speaking and writing.

Our purpose is to teach learners how to communicate in simple, everyday tasks requiring no more than a simple and direct exchange of information on familiar and routine matters. Learners are expected to reach the A2 level of the CEFR (Common European Framework of Reference for Languages) which can be summed up in the following way:

“Can understand and use familiar everyday expressions and very basic phrases aimed at the satisfaction of needs of a concrete type. Can introduce him/herself and others and can ask and answer questions about personal details such as where he/she lives, people he/she knows and things he/she has. Can interact in a simple way provided that the other person talks slowly and clearly and is prepared to help. Can communicate in simple and routine tasks requiring a simple and direct exchange of information on familiar and routine matters. Can describe in simple terms aspects of his/her background, immediate environment and matters in areas of immediate need”.

Maximum number of students for each course: 10

Intermediate

The intermediate course is designed for learners who have already reached the elementary English level. We propose a training programme aimed at achieving the B1 level of the CEFR (Common European Framework of Reference for Languages) which can be summed up in the following way:
