Musical journey to the discovery of Gaetano Callido An itinerant seminar. One of the Europe’s foremost experts in the life and work of the famous organ builder Gaetano Callido will lead the students to the discovery of history and the sound performance of some of the Callido’s organs in Macerata. At each stop, the organ teacher will describe some important moments and events in Gaetano Callido’s life and work by using some pieces of music. It will also be possible to learn more about the architecture of the churches in which the organs are as well as the paintings and frescoes inside them. |
